With the 2016 Olympics in Brazil just weeks away, we are profiling some of the participants in the games. This week our portrait is of a female athlete who’s from Brazil. Natalia Gaudio is a rhythmic gymnast. Her sport combines gymnastics with hand-eye coordination and dance. It also includes props – or “apparatus” - like ribbons and hoops. Natalia is one of the world’s top-ranking rhythmic gymnasts. Like the sport she has mastered, her personal life has had its ups and downs as well. The city of Rio de Janeiro is hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics. The Games take place from August 5th to the 21st. Watch this week’s Olympian segment on “Americas Now" to witness the grace and style of Natalia Gaudio.
